Staying at Hotel Palmas de Cortez brought a sense of relaxation I remembered from my youth. Each morning began with stunning views—sunrise lighting up the Sea of Cortez, distant mountains outlined in pink and gold, and the sound of pelicans skimming the surface. I found myself drawn to the beach for early walks and spent afternoons exploring nearby shops and restaurants. The real magic was in those quiet moments on the patio, watching the waves, completely surrounded by natural beauty. It’s a place where every day promises something memorable. My family has been walking this beach since the 70's. A lot has changed, but the peace found stays the same. The hotel was originally built in 1960. So, it has definitely changed through the years but has kept its overall feeling of a place for families, fisherman and romantic getaways.
